Use Typhoon ATO system or buy another from ATO.com?

Hi everyone - I was about to add a double switch auto top off set up to my order in the Kalk reactor group buy when I noticed that the typhoon 5 stage I just recently has a single switch and auto shut off valve.

As someone who has never had a ATO working yet, I could use some advice. Would I be able to add a second switch to this arrangement without too much difficulty/expense? Here is the link for the AWI system i have (see the bottom of the page for the AWI description) Perhaps I could use a second single switch and add one on my AWI order?

Having to be very budget minded lately, I would really like to save the $50, if I can do it with sacrificing too much reliability.

I'm not seeing the ATO description on the page you linked. I searched AWI for both Auto Top Off and Float Switch.
If your referring to the ASOV, that's not a Auto Top Off switch. The ASOV will shut off the RODI unit based on back pressure caused by shuting off the product output. With out ASOV, waste water would continue to be produced even if the produce output is stopped.
