Saw this controller back at macna in Miami and it looked very nice. Took a while to come to market but I'm excited to see how it turns out.Had mine setup for about a month now so far it's working ok. Been a little buggy but its still in beta testing. Every week they come out with a firmware update to make it better, I think it has a lot of potential to be a really good controller anyone else on here have one
personally, i think the apex is overrated....but thats meSound interesting and it's time to have some competition for Neptune Apex.
Was going to get an apex but didn't really want to have to write code. The cerebra is real easy to set up it runs android so its just like your phone

For me, the code part is only an issue when u r trying to set items like an ATO, like u mentioned, its the whole purchasing of other modules that get me. I have the apex Jr. But dollar for dollar, the reefkeeper series (IMO) is the best out there for basic needsI contemplated ordering this with the 1/2 off price. I just couldn't do it when I saw pics of how big everything is. I would have nowhere to mount any of it. I think they are on the right track as far as technology I just need to wait until future generations slim it down.
On a side note I just bought a Apex for my first controller. I was apprehensive because of everything I read about writing code. It is actually easy to do. In fact I bet most 6th graders could write this code. I don't see what all the fuss is about the Apex code. What I hate about the Apex is all the modules you need to buy. Seems the Cerebra has a lot more built into it. I really like the Cerebra touchscreen display. I think Neptune screwed up by deleting the display on the Fusion.
Thanks that helps . I understand why they are keeping the vertex forum closed but it makes it more difficult to decide on a controller. You can have multiple float switches control your ato and set max allowed run time. For the max run time at certain time of day I don't think you can do that yet. Vertex has set up a forum just for the controller and there is a section for programming and if you want it to do something like that you just post it and they usually work it in to a future up date if it something people want which is pretty cool
