So recently i bought a drinking water filtration similar to a ro system. No membrane. My tap tds is 115. The filtered water is 114. Something is clearly wrong with my tap water. Who can i contact to solve why my tap water is so bad.
115 isn't a high TDS for tap, mines around 245.
Edit : the membrane is what does the heavy lifting in TDS reduction though so that's why you probably aren't seeing a huge difference
ok so if i add a membrane to my system i should be fine to have it as drinking water
house hold drinking system. Fluoride Countertop Water Filter SystemIs this for household drinking water or rodi water for the aquarium?
What kind of system is it? What does it have to make it "safe"
I just bought this filter a week ago and i just want drinkable water so i don’t have to keep buying bottled waters. Their customer service has been great. But my buddy has the same system and his tds is 23. And the taste is a huge difference. I should be able to add a membrane. I’m going to talk to their customer serviceIf you can change the cartridges, then just swap out the sediment filter for something with a low micron count. Can add a carbon block (s) too.
Like mentioned, the membrane is what does alot of the fine "heavy lifting". If you can add something in line with the existing filters that would be the best.
Are you tied to this system? Ru in the market for something else? Do you need fresh RO water on demand?
