This past weekend, I was surveying the plumbing work that needs to be modified to replace my existing 72 gallon with a 180 gallon and I noticed that the tank is parallel to the joists. Bummer.
Much to my wife's chagrin, I have to turn the tank perpendicular to the joists. This is going to change the landscape of my living room, but it is what it is.
Now my question is, is there any thing else that I need to do in this situation? There is a basement downstairs and the tank is going to be by a wall and there is a iron pillar that is directly under this wall.
TIA
Arvind.
