What DC Pump for My System

Lately I've been thinking about getting one of the Jebao DC or DCT series pump for my return, I have a manifold to run 2 reactor (Carbon, GFO or Biopellets) ....I was thinking to get the DCT-4000, any suggestions?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Juan I have a DC pump for sale if you are interested I think its a 8000 but you could run it at a low setting let me know
The 8000 is too much for my tank Anthony, even at the lower speed but thanks for letting me know.

And I really can't say Juan....having no first-hand experience. Just by the numbers, the 4000 should be fine. I think @kschweer also runs a Jebao and maybe he can add something to this.

I run the 6000 on my 57 and it also feeds my skimmer. It's only set on the third level and moves a good amount of water. I have been running it for 2 years and will say in very happy with it. The only issue I had was the power supply died about 4 months ago. Other than that it's a great pump for the money and is dead silent. With it being adjustable I would go with something a little bigger than you think you need and run it on a lower setting. This way you can use it if you upgrade or if you add anything else to your manifold. I would say go with the 6000.

I'll be running the 6000 waveline, pretty much the same thing as jebao, on my 135g with a sump that holds 30g, and it won't be at full speed, i'd say you are fine with the 4000 version.

Kevin what skimmer do you have and how do you run it with your return pump?

I run an external skimmer. It's a reef octopus dnwb-100 (now called the reef octopus classic 110ext). I have a manifold and one ball valve feeds the skimmer. They also refer to them as recirculating skimmers. Water is fed from a feed pump and the needle wheel pump recirculates while adding the air to the water. It's great for my situation leaves me more room in the sump for things and I didn't have to worry about water levels for the skimmer. I also think the external skimmers let you fine tune them a bit more.
