What does RO/DI and Kati Ani miss?

I wanted to ask what contaminants are missed by standard RO/DI and Kati Ani units.

If it is different, please identify which one.

I am defining contaminants, as anything that would be considered undesireable for a reef tank.

Both do not remove all silicates if the source water has high amounts. Both also have trouble when the municipal water uses chloramines.
