I really hope my tank is up and running before next December...:)

And more importantly, get to meet more of the members. I have met Rob and Erwin and its been a great pleasure talking shop, drink wine, and hanging with them... Dance

So what is your reef resolutions for 2014?

Have a happy safe New Year!

To take my time stocking my new tank with the fish and corals I really want and to avoid impulse buys so that I can stick to my stocking plans.

I have really been struggling with impulse buys. I have been good at it but it is trying my patience. Stick to the plan, man!

2013 taught me several things.
To boil them down into resolutions:
1. I need to be less lazy so that I can have fewer alk swings.
2. When I'm not happy with the tank, I need to go ahead and stick my hands in it and fix it.
3. Pay attention, stupid. If the coral looks unhappy, there is likely a reason, and I need to keep looking until I figure it out.
4. Don't forget this is fun and relaxing, and its OK to pull bubble algae/scrape glass etc. when you want. I'm a a dork. I'm a happier dork when I go ahead and embrace it.

To get rid of my hair algae without wiping out the rest of my SPS. (Lost my birds nest and pink lemonade dosing peroxide. The rest are recovering.
