I picked up 2 sea swirls 3/4inch .Need openions on what kind of in sump pumps to run them. Can I use 1 pump to run them both or 1 for each one. I have plenty of flow already. Just got a good deal on them and want to use them. Thanks in advance.

Mike I haven't used sea swirls so I really can't recommend a particular pump, but I have used the Quiet One Pumps and like them alot, thier very quiet and haven't noticed any heat being added to the tank compared to the mag drives, PA sells them and they have different sizes depending on your needs including a HH one.

Mike go with the QuietOne 6000. It has a 1" out that can be split into the 2 3/4" returns. That's what I have running on my 120 and seahorse tnak with 6 outputs and each puts out a good amount of flow.

Here's a drawing of how my tank is plumbed and all out puts have the valves all the way open except the seahorse tank cause it will flood. It will definitely be enough flow and with valves you can adjust. And it's about $100 from Dr. Fosters.

Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone. I just happen to have a 6000 lying around to pump the water from 1 drum to the other.
