ROFL @ Mike.

I would like a Macro lens for my camera. (psst...I'm getting one, too, because I ordered it myself this evening.) ;D

Bob, Nikon is now making a newer version of the 60mm micro (Nikon's word for macro) lens. It has internal focusing and the newer focus motor. It has ED (high end) glass and can get an inch closer to objects than the old version of this lens. The lens (if you can live with 60mm instead of 105mm) is under 500$. Sounds like a great buy, if you're in the market for a Nikon Macro.

It can be found HERE.

Wendy, rarely can you go wrong with the manufacturer's own glass, especially where a macro lens is involved. I'm sure it's good... for a Canon

;D

Pocket wizards, Wacom Bamboo tablet, 80mm 1.4, killer tripod, flash bracket ... too bad Santa doesn't work for B&H. ;D

Wendy, a something filter?! I'd love to try that one next time I see you!

Nightsea gear is definitely a good one for the Santa list. Even the non-camera gear is fantastic. It gives you a whole 'nother dimension of your tank to explore. We don the glasses & flashlight just about daily to check on the tank.

This morning there was some green ??? flourescing from the sand between the rocks. Looked like maybe frogspawn bits, but I'm still not sure what it really is.

Will that lens work for a D60?
