Where to buy Dowflake or Calcium Chloride pellets?

I am trying to find Dowflake or Calcium Chloride pellets for part 2 of my homemade 2 part calc/alk additive but now that winter is coming to an end, no stores seem to carry it. Does anyone know where you can still find it, preferably close to Jersey City?

I've checked a couple of Home Depots. Unfortunately it is only a seasonal item and they seem to be done for the year. Maybe just have to drive farther north where the roads are still frozen.

i have a bag of calcium, and a bag of mag if you need it, pm for more info if you want, and to buy it in a store, i think you going to need to do some hunting on all the homedepots you come acros

I think you would have more luck at a local hardware store if you have one near you. They always seem to have everything in stock, and being this was a mild winter snow/ice wise, they should have plenty left.

I have Mag pellets(equivalent to mag flake) and Prestone dryway heat(mentioned in randys article - anhydrous use 20%less)

You're welcome to it if you want.
pm me.

I found some calcium chloride flake from my local hardware store that looks adequate. It is sold as "Hot Stuff". I requested the spec sheet from the company and they faxed me one. Composition appears to be the same as dow flake. I tried it out last night and everything seems to be good this morning. I will check my calcium levels when I get home to see if it had an effect. Thanks everyone for the offers of calcium pellets and flakes. It's great to know that there are so many helpful reefers in NJ :)
