pipe seals  - catalog page -  3543
PVC gate valve - 398 - for the gate valve mod if you haven't done it - I highly recommend it!

Can you go straight in with the sedra pump or do you have to use an elbow? I found the perfect elbow at lowes. Screws right into the sedra and slip fitting on the other.

i read some where that you make the mod, i dont remember for how much, so maybe i take it to the meeting you going to host and if you have time, hmmmm can you do it??
;D

can be done real quick.....no charge if you bring it to me and buy the parts. I've already practiced on mine. We need to make sure how the pump is going to be angled. Look at www.asmskimmer.com. If you can go straight in with the pump then its a piece of cake. Also, how are you going to feed the skimmer?

This is what I mean by "straight in"

I had to put an elbow at the end of my pump because of space.

i'm sure i can put it like that and i think im feeding it with a mj600, not sure yet in the feeding tho

thank you Rich

I may have all the uniseals you need to do that mod, along with the hole saws needed to drill.
I modded my ER8-2 and bought a few extra uniseals.

I will charge for them, but save you money from buying them online.

Aquatic Eco Systems seemed to have the best price for them . Aquaticeco.com.

I've got two of the 1."" they were $2.50 each.
I have two of the 3/4" , they were $2.03. .

You might want to just order them, shipping was only $7. Or you can come get a couple of these for $2. each.
The drills weren't cheap, you need a 1-3/4" hole for the 1" UniSeal. That's the scariest part of this Mod, it's a pretty big hole in the side of your nice Skimmer. , but it does drill pretty easy, just when the drill breaks through the other side, you gotta be real careful as to not break the plastic. Do the drilling in the sink, while someone pours water on the drill bit.

Anyway, you are welcome to borrow these drills, or check Home Depot or Lowes, they both carry them, They are called Hole Saws.
