White Mushroom?

Well I have heard that they do not exist, but, I think I have one in my tank.
A white mushroom.

wow a white shroom those are very rare only because i havn't seen one before

Has it colored up at all? I have some that start out similar but eventually morph to match the parent.

I think you are right, the shroom is starting to get some light color starting from the center. greg

If a shroom is bleached how long will it take to start showing color again? I purchased some LR back in late Oct from a fellow reefer, on one of the pieces were two small, pure white, but seemingly perfectly healthy shrooms. I asked and the original owner said they were growing inside a cave in his tank and seemed healthy so he never tried to move them. It's been a few months now that they are out in the light and they are still small and still pure white.

The answer to that lies within your system. Parameters, light, etc. There's almost no telling. I would have thought that with decent lighting they would have colored up by now, but it may happen yet.

My white has colored up the same as the others now. Was neat while it lasted.
