Thanks for the advice, had looked at that and decided on GH based on reputation, but I have had a few super silent Eshopps overflows.
Knowing the GH isn't as quiet, looks like I'll go Eshopps.

Yeah mark. Stay away from gh. They are really loud. I used synergy ghost overflow on my 180 to get away from the glass hole

BTW, got some info that Petco $1/gal sale starts on July 14.

Mark, if only you needed this in February I had all of these things the 40 breeder the glass holes kit over flow and plumbing but I sold it back then sorry.
Idk if you have used the kit befor they are great just becareful to offset your hole never dead center like I did lesson learn the hard way

I run a gh overflow on my 80 breeder. The nano version. If you dont run a lot of flow it’s quiet. I think it will be fine on a 40 breeder. The pump I use is about 300gph but the actual flow is probably half of that. Gh is cheaper and easier to plumb.

Went with the eshopps box, had some great reviews and came with templates and bits.

Still looking for a 40b to put it on.
