I just bought the Macro Aqua M-50 on ebay ( $10 cheaper than amazon)- a bit noisy, gets good reviews- very affordable- guess I'll find out how good it actually is

The Micro Aqua M-50 protein skimmer has been running for a couple of days now- for some reason it's louder in my sump vs in the tank- but the compartment in the sump leaves little space all around- I think that has something to do with it- for a skimmer under $70 for tanks up to 60g, I don't think you could go wrong

Keep me updated. I'm trying some different approaches for my current skimmer in hopes to get it going good.
