WWC grafted cap question

I was generously given a box of corals from joe knows reefs after hurricane sandy, and included was a piece if what was labeled WWC grafted cap. It came in with no green and still has no green pigment to it. My question is do you guys think it will develop over time? Or will it remain red?

I think it all depends on the lighting and water quality. What lights were they under & what do you have? If running the same lights as it was under when it had those colors then it should come back..

I have spoken to victor at WWC about this monti and you really need the green to be in there for it to develop. It will not just appear. Don't worry I will be getting a nice piece with both colors and I will get you a nice frag of it Kevin!
