Do you feed zoas? Do you dose for zoas? Do you recommend a reef controller for zoas?
I had been neglecting my tank for a while and now I am slowly nursing it back to health. I will do another water change tonight and see where my numbers are. In the meantime:
I've decided to focus on zoas and palys going forward, maybe some softies, but no SPS. I still have ~80 rastas left out the ~200 I had growing (I started with 9). So now that I have an almost empty tank, I'm going to be picky and only add what I really want to keep. Fruit Loops are at the top of the list, as are hornets and sunny D's. Recognizing these are harder zoas to keep, what water parameters do you aim for for growth?
What I have
livestock: one clown fish, some rastas, and some mushrooms. Tank is 3-4 yrs old.
Hardware: ACAN LED, 30G cube with 7G sump; ATO for RODI; I have a GFO/Carbon reactor and a skimmer (debating whether or not to use these).
