ZOOs Help!

I purchased a new zoo colony last Sat after the meeting, Very Nice, Purple with a White Eye, I have been looking at them for 2 weeks at a local store. Placed them in my frag tank, Floated, Dripped did the transfer correctly. They have never fully opened. The water is even the same water from the store! Every thing in the same tank is doing great including other ZOOs. Pretty sure at this point that I am losing them! Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!!

What type of lighting where they under compared to your lighting?
That might be the whole issues...
Zoos are very sensitive to different lights and placement...
Most like partly shaded to Medium lighting not intense lighting...
also what about flow.... Too much flow will irratate them and makes them stay closed...
I have had zoos that took over a month to open so I would be too worried...

I have some zoas that are a bit in the shade, was told that they would color up better that way.
Indeed they are great color when open but occasionally they build up a little algae (looks similar to yours) because they are in a recessed area. If it happens and they fail to open I use the old turkey baster to blow the algae off and they pop open. Maybe give it a try.

They were under Metal Halieds and now under Power Compacts, Did the Turkey Blaster a few times no results, and wait a month!! That could be tough! Thanks

OK since they were under MHs and now PCs
Maybe try to put them up higher in the tank...
They are used to much more intense lighting conditions...
Then after they acclimate to your lights slowly lower them down in the tank...
