Nice. I just made one a Phosban Reactor and waiting on media to arrive this week.
What I found starnge was on AMZ the BRS media was $26 for 2lbs. The BRS site had it for half the price.; guess where I ordered from......LOL

How long does that last you?
Bought it in Jan 2023.. still over half fullHow long does that last you?
i use the medium size one but i have it recirculating the air back into my skimmer which is a Aquamaxx WS-1 and it last me usually around 3 weeks or so, depending but I also use kalkwasser to drive my ph at night like ACI method.
Dont quote me, but if you daisy chain too many, it may impact the performance of the skimmer since it needs to suck in air to operate.. not sure what the additional pressure would do to the skimmer
I read it raises the water level in your sump.Yeah, that's what I figured. I bought them used. Basically 2 for the price of one. Maybe I'll see about getting the bigger size. Not a big deal for right now. I feel like it'll only take like 2 mins to change out the media lol
Are you dosing Kalk? At one point, my pH was going too high between the kalk and co2 scrubbing. I've stopped the co2 scrubbing when my pH was hitting 8.6 peak
pH is generally "fine" if your house isnt overly crowded. Depending on your coral load, to buff up the pH, I would suggest looking into Kalk dosing as a first step. It'll help balance your alk/calc elementsNot yet. I haven't been keeping track of those levels yet. I have a pH probe with the hydros setup so thats the only reason I know my pH is low LOL.

I want a scrubber but don't see how one big enough would fit in my sump.I use the clearwater scrubber. Bought it before they got bought out. So easy to clean on a regular basis. I get so much algae I have to clean it weekly.
do you feel like it helps more with phosphates? i struggle to keep my phosphates down despite not even using things like reefroids. only feeding pellets and occassionally mysisI use the clearwater scrubber. I actually want phosphate. Last I checked about a month ago, mine was like 0.04. I want more. Acros need phosphate. I'm guessing the scrubber removes it that's why it's so low.do you feel like it helps more with phosphates? i struggle to keep my phosphates down despite not even using things like reefroids. only feeding pellets and occassionally mysis
