I poured some vodka in my biocube once when I first got started. I'll do some research on it thank you. It didnt live too long in the cube. Had it in the intank refug basket and a light but I never put the light on a timer.

I was thinking about a homemade chaeto basket in the live rock area to help with nutrients. Ive added pods to the live rock area and dose some phyto every couple days. I tried chaeto in my biocube but didn't work out too well.

May look at doing it on this one. I put unions and shutoff in to be able to take it apart for future upgrades

I got local pods and phyto and phyto from Sea Level Aquarium in Pine Brook last week. The phyto is nice and dark I read the darker the better most of the time.

Going to be two months of worrying about my tank, Metallica, Pantera, Ice Iine Kills, suicidal Tendencies and Limp Bizkit. Went with neptune so I could monitor and co trol everything from afar and have my nephew do some cleaning and feeding in my absence
