Sump diagram/questions

Just seeking some insight to how I have the sump set up. It's my first sump, plumbed it and it's running good.

As with everything, there's usually room for improvement so i was wondering if there's anything I should change up? The sump was from a red sea 350, using reef mat, but neptune everything else(return pump, doser, tridents, ato etc). Got a sicce pump doing the dual reactor. Red Sea skimmer.

May look at doing it on this one. I put unions and shutoff in to be able to take it apart for future upgrades

That's almost exactly identical to how my sump is setup.

I was thinking about a homemade chaeto basket in the live rock area to help with nutrients. Ive added pods to the live rock area and dose some phyto every couple days. I tried chaeto in my biocube but didn't work out too well.

Been the hobby since 2005 and only 1 time did cheato grow all other times it died. I stick to LR in the sump and dose Vodka.

I poured some vodka in my biocube once when I first got started. I'll do some research on it thank you. It didnt live too long in the cube. Had it in the intank refug basket and a light but I never put the light on a timer.

I do 3ml daily on my 80g and 20g sump.
