My copper brown butterfly Fish has ich and I cannot take it out of the tank. I will have to destroy everything. What is the most nutritious food that I can give for these guys?
Not just for the butterfly, but the others that are not sick

I agree. Do you run a UV?
I actually installed one last night because I noticed dinos… it’s like an Avalanche coming since my last vacation… i came home just to find a almost half way empty tank in wish I lost all torches and sps… this new year is rocking with me lol

Can you use a fish trap to get him out? And how many other fish do you have? You'd have to QT and treat all of them.

Without removing the fish your only option is hit thd tank with rally pro asap get quality vitamin enchanted food and pray…. Cause you got 4-5 days before you start killing everything in that tank

for how long i have been in this hobby, the hardest truth i ever come to realize is to QT all your fish. the effort is worth the headache. I would suggest treating your fish in a QT as some have already suggested and let the tank go fallow to get rid of it. if not, it's just going to keep coming back.

like @nvladik suggested, go to lowes/home depot. grab a 20-30 gallon bin and use that as a temporary QT, grab a sponge filter and spare heater and treat them in there. I suggest going to humble.fish forums and seeing some basic qt methods.

I used to QT every time and I was killing half of the fish especially wrasses. Plus I honestly can’t have another tank because of time…:(

Odd, I haven’t lost a single wrasse in QT. Rosy scales, pin tail, Melanarusus (forgive the spelling), and one more fairy is in QT as we speak.

Qt tank is super easy, heater and hang on back is all you should need.
