Bump. Fish well established - Yellow Tangs are at least 5 years in the tanks, Purple tang is at least 3 years in the tank. Blenny is big and fat - big appetites on these guys. Haven't added any fish to my tanks in at least a year or more.
So I am thinking about getting out and rebooting later on. I have a lot of things I can sell, but really I wanted to put a feeler out for fish as I would have to get rid of all fish from each tank at once. meaning if you wanted one fish from one tank you'd have to take them all. i dont need to...
An early observation is that water is trapped in the channels. This is water that I used to flush the cuttings out. I will probably pull the covers off and trim them by an 1/8 of an inch. Rewash, let dry and use clear packing tape to seal off those channels on the two ends.
I've never had tank covers because my house was pretty drafty. I've gotten around to installing new windows and sealing up most holes and I'm noticing more evaporation as the house is warmer and I'm also noticing lots of humidity in the house. So A quick search online found this DIY solution...
