84 gallon display clean up crew

Great price, not necessarily the cleanup crew composition I'd want but it'll get the job done for sure

    Looking for nano ATO system

For both methods yes. But the dosing pump is way trickier and costly.

    Reefer 425 Sump Layout

Bucket fuge if you want to do chaeto. I'd either do a diy algae scrubber or just light it. Throw a bunch of sponge filter and roughed up acrylic sheets and dividers for algae to grow on and just suck out that or keep something in there that eats it or both. I always do better growing algae for...

    Looking for nano ATO system

I use a dosing pump for a long run from my basement and when I was ready I started using it to dose kalkwasser. Before that I have used twice a float valve using a gravity feed ato. 3 years each time and had no problems

    Phyto

I've only really been happy with reef nutrition. Besides them I feel like it's not that potent. If it's a blend it might be lighter in color also, some of the strains are brown or very light colored. Reef nutrition has the thickest phyto in the game. Culture that. Nano should win out over time...

    Reefapalooza

I got a frag of vivid badfish tenuis off of Jason Fox. Very cool multi colored polyp piece. And I'm trying one of those nps gorgonians I saw a bunch of vendors selling. Some art from the art lady, a bunch of food at reef nutrition and misc frag racks, glue etc. Will definitely go back next year.

    Reefapalooza

I land right in-between these kinda opposite opinions. I don't like it, it won't stop me, but I'm an introvert and it's annoying to me to keep asking prices. Even just give a range. 20-80 , 100-200 etc etc. Leave some negotiating room but give me an idea. Although places like world wide corals...

    Reefapalooza

I did forget one thing. I a lot of vendors didn't have prices , so you had to ask and they were making them up depending on who it was and when it was. I understand, but it's something I don't like in general. Or they would be marked 30 and up. Like set up price zones and have an ask section if...

    NYAquatic reef a palooza

We stopped by. My Buddy got a crazy deal on a fish. I tried to make the same deal towards the end and it was a no go, i think they were selling too good. My fault on waiting. But he had very cheap fish

    Reefapalooza

Went yesterday and last year. Prices have definitely gone up. Like everything else. Especially at the well known vendors, they are still cheaper than most online normal prices. . I managed to spend more money than I wanted and got decent deals in my opinion, just took a little searching. The...

    Looking for Goniopora

Reefapalooza has really good prices if you're going there. I may be interested in getting rid of my pink goni with a blue base if I get something more interesting at reefapalooza. I'll let you know if I pick something up

    Quanta bars

I recently got one of the quanta pro bars. If anyone is looking for lighting supplemental or main, I'd heavily consider these lights. I think I'm converted for good. Very easy, very well built, good quality light with good quality spectrum. Very t5 like. The only difference is you have to mount...

    Mag scraper

I used to use the flipper max with the scraper for a while. Then Switched to tunze with the plastic blade and use a handled scraper. Both ways are about as easy and time consuming and have about the same results. I just feel more comfortable with the tunze staying in my tank, seems built...

    Oasis aquatics

Oasis aquatics in hackettstown. If no one has stopped by yet, cool place to check out. Cheap corals, not a huge selection cause they are relatively new, but nice guys, healthy livestock. Good prices. Half freshwater if you or a Friend has a freshwater tank. Cool stuff to look at (some monster...

    Hatching Brine Shrimp

I noticed significantly better hatches when it's got a light on it and its warm. I hatch mine in a finished attic and they hatch at 3x at least when it's summer.
