Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I’ve used overflows as well without issues. But curious, what’s the hesitation to drilling your tank? Bigger tanks like 75’s have thicker glass and are relatively easy to drill (assuming they aren’t tempered). And in the long run, it’s more reliable then a over the top overflow.
Appreciate everyone’s responses. Thank you! It looks like I need to either buy a roller mat or get some secret laundry done while my wife’s working. Lol
For those of you that use filter socks, I'm interested in how you clean your socks. I take them outside and spray them with a hose until they're as clean as I can get them. This works fine now, but come Nov/Dec, it gets a little cold. And my wife doesn't let me touch the washing machine...
I need to clear out some space in my frag tank. Selling 3 frogspawn frags for $25 each. Each one has two to four heads. First come first serve unless you want to hold via PP or Venmo.
Located in Marlton, about 5 miles from exit 4 of the NJT.
Not sure what your budget is, but I'd take a look at the Reeflo high pressure pumps. If you were using a mag 9.5, a Swordtail should be more than sufficient.
Trying to rearrange my tank so getting rid of this large green cyphastrea. The dome on top is about the diameter of a softball and the whole peice is about 7”. BTW, the white marks are from me trying to pry it off another rock. Im asking $50 or trade for some SPS frags.
Asking a clarifying question....are you looking to avoid drilling your sump or drilling your actual fish tank? If it's the fish tank you're trying to avoid, I think the only way to do that is with an overflow box.
