ok so if i add a membrane to my system i should be fine to have it as drinking water

So recently i bought a drinking water filtration similar to a ro system. No membrane. My tap tds is 115. The filtered water is 114. Something is clearly wrong with my tap water. Who can i contact to solve why my tap water is so bad.

Ok great. Thank you for all the responses. I’ll hold out and hope for the best. When starting up tanks i never had these issues. I would add live rock and live sand and be good to go. Which i did. But I’ll see how it goes

What do you recommend. More water changes. Add more bacteria. Add pods. Cleanup crew?
