No you would use a ph controller to shut down the solenoid to the C02. Or you can even set up your reef angel You would set it up so that the effluent comes out @ 6.4 - 6.7 out of the reactor. Anything lower then 6.4 will turn all your media in the reactor to mush.

Well not much has happened with my tank. Picked up a few corals everything is doing good so far. Just place an order thru ReefCleaners for a clean up crew. Since I got rid of my blue streak goby I need some inverts to clean my sandbed. Gonna try and take some pics of the tank tonight and post.
