olivier - let me know when and i will do my best to come over and help. trust me in this debacle, being there for the event may not have helped. It was just utter chaos and frustration. I lost almost all my corals but was able to save all but one fish (achilles...).

thanks everyone. I just did another 50 gallon water change between conference calls. I was at the office all last week while the building was on generator power so I figured I could take a day to work from home today. I am pretty sure I siphoned out bits of snails and anemone. Tossed out...

Mark - good to hear you are ok. So sorry about the house. Is FEMA at least helping with alternate housing? I'm listening to the news say that you are supposed to keep the generator '20 feet' from the house. If I did that it would be that much closer for some jerk to load into his/her car...
