    It's not plugged in. I had an emergency situation and putting a heater in was my last resort. They use the cord to hitch now so I haven't taken it out.

    Thanks! That's pretty neat how yours are yellow from the corals. I want to do an experiment in the future to see if I can influence the color based on the tank decorations.

    Welcome! I agree with everyone else saying to wait until you are able to move to out. Although, the nanny cam is not a bad idea. I'm sure that you will get lots of help to help rebuild.

    If you go with T5, I would go with a 6 bulb fixture. However, I have had LED's on my reef for the last 2 years and I would not have anything else on my tanks.

    sand and live rock in which order?

    Here's what I would do is add the rock, then the sand and last the water. You can put a plate on the sand bed and pour the water on that. This will help to reduce some of the sandstorm effect.
