I like the pulse too. So stock it has an A and a B roter installed? If I put both as a will it slow the foward speed? I ask cause on 100 % foward it moves the water well. If I lower it I'm not sure if I'll get surface ripples at the far side. I'll mess with it. Prob won't switch to same...

gyre So i have it on my weir. cant make up my mind on what setting. Darren has the 2 and i would love that but not going to happen, So i have it running on reverse mode but reverse doesn't get anywhere near the push of forward. I haven't changed the rotor... Thinking of just running it on...

So I put my gyre in the tank. I have it on my weir pushing out to the end of my penninsula. My worry about it being too powerful was unfounded. I have it on full force and it does push water well but it does not move any sand. That being said I may look at the 170 when its issued :-)...

I'm running 5 apollo solorblasts over my 300 gal peninsula. Whites are at approx 70 % and blue/UV is just below that. Gotta check. But I've got good growth Ive read about pulling the optics but haven't done so. The apollo's are supposed to be good for 2x2 area but I didn't think it...

I love my leds. I have great growth and love the energy/ heat levels. Plus is get killed if I tried to buy new lights. I just fixed my apollos. So for me for now leds :)

Yes we met 2 cleanups ago. Chris is doing well and honestly I'm hoping it gets him some money for school. He is talkng about being a doctor. I'll never retire.....
