Yea mine does too. Here is a stalk that grew off off mine, then reattached to the back glass. I have all kinds of corals, but the green star polyp among my favorite.
[QUOTE I also considered the GTI. The focus is good enough thought. It’s just right for the around town driving. Im averaging about 4,000 miles a year. It really doesn’t get to stretch its legs out much.
I used Shop-rite brand pure ammonia as well. I wouldn’t worry about testing anything but ammonia and nitrite for now. Once the cycle is complete the other parameters should fall in range. If not, a simple water change will help bring it them line. I didn’t even have do a water change though.
I’m a hatch back fan myself. Got a focus St, with all the bolt ons. Also have a 1962 Ford ranchero. That has a straight 6, 3 on the tree. Its fun classic and a useful pick up when I need to haul stuff.
I bought a coral. Some kind of Rhodactis mushroom from ultimate coral. I’m can’t find anything quite like it. It’s pretty bubbly. I’m not sure if it is some sort of bounce. Paid a litte more than your typical Green Rhodactis, but I didn’t pay bounce money, so I’m happy either way. I know it’s...

Wow. I’m going to start a culture! They sound like an ideal saltwater food. I like to feed blackworms, but white worms are more sustainable. I had no idea they could stay alive in saltwater for days. I have found black worms to be the most nutritious food. The fish look so fat and happy when I...
That’s a good plan. I’m going to make sure to have supper clean hands when I rinse and ring out the sock. It could have been oil from my skin. I was rinsing the sock frequently from wall the dust from the new sand bed clogging it. Not that I was working in the tankwithout washing my hands before.
No idea. Before I swapped it it would just make bubbles, but no foam. It was very touchy, and there was a fine line between not skimming at all, and overfowing. Now I can adjust to skim dry. I can skim wet without overflowing. It seems to be working properly. It was immediately better when I put...
After all the trouble with the skimmer, I changed the filter sock 2 days ago. It immediately started building proper foam for the first time ever. It’s been working perfectly for 48 hours. There was absolutely no surface tension before to form foam.
