It is strange and maybe hopeful of me, but I am not questioning whether my two fish had ich at all. The reason I am questioning this is that upon introduction to my tank my blenny found a hole about an inch deep and has dug itself a hole through my entire rock. I have seen it do it and spit out...
if they are owned by the same guy why is one horrible and one really nice? The one by Hidden Reefs is very clean and well lit. THe corals are all presented as nice as I have seen in NJ. The fish tanks had no signs of cyano or any other bad growth. The first time I went it was hard to get someone...
well once again the Midas and Flame appear to be ich free. It is almost like it shows a little bit then goes away. I think they are eating well and acting normal so I am thinking things will be ok. My clowns haven't shown anything at all yet. Thanks for your posts. I really appreciate the...
The Pets Plus near Hidden Reef is actually quite nice. I prefer it to Hidden Reefs. I have bought a couple corals there so far. Dunno what town it is exactly in, but Hidden Reef is in Levittown and this Pets Plus is 5 mins away.
thought I was in the clear, but I noticed some spots on a different part of the blenny tonight at 12:00am. The Flame also has some spots. Neither appear to be doing anything different that usual. The blenny actually had dug out a hole in my LR that it hides in. I have no idea how it has done...
as of 7:20am this morning everything looked the same. The midas still had ich and I couldn't find the flame angel. Both Clowns looked fine.
as of 2:20 I went to check on them and I don't see ich on any of them.
I know Ich sometimes appears and reappears, but would it be a (fingers crossed)...
The midas I got today 3/30 turned dark brown in the bag and then regained color once acclimated. After an hour I saw white spots all over his head and was hoping it was just sand from digging. Now I see white spots on my Flame Angel as well. As of now I am leaving the two fish along with my two...
I got a great Midas Blenny from there today. He got pretty stressed in the bag and turned browish and spotty, but after acclimated a bit and into the tank he started peeping out of a hole and becoming bolder and bolder. He/she returned to its great yellowish/pink color and is slowly getting used...
anyone ever checked this water out? I haven't personally, but I have only used this water claimed to be RO and I am still getting algae which I figured would be minimal using all RO water.
I have kept a freshwater tank throughout the summers with no temperature problems, but was curious about the need for a chiller for my saltwater tank. In terms of NJ temperatures and roommates who don't really turn the A/C on until the night time or when it is 80+ degrees, how important would a...
sorry I don't know too much about corals yet, but what is the orange/reddish one you have? Is that an anemone? I need something that color for my tank to give a variety to my green torch and brownish/green frogspawn.
I have a 2" Ultra Crocea Clam. It's been about 4 days and it has looked great every day. Earlier today I noticed on one of the "lip" section that it had a white lining instead of the all dark blue. Now when I got home the clam is closed and all I can see is the white lining instead of the blue...
Check out Teak in Hoboken near the train station. It has a fish tank that has to be 100 feet long. Check out their website.
