I'm thinking about using flucanazole. Any advice on this will be helpful. Will try anything at this point including any other form of maintenance.
You could do it cleanly if you had a band saw, but with snippers you may do more damage than good
If you think the eggs are in that dead coral section then go for it. If not I'd leave it.
If it were me, and I wasnt able to QT the thing, I'd toss the coral. From experience, I'm suffering...
you'll know if it was nudi or not as they'll have those devilish thorns protruding from them (depending on the species) if it was flat, like paper flat then I would lean towards Red Planaria worms
