a question @hcker99 , if you had to choose, what piece of equipment is contributing to your success in running such beautiful systems? I just started up a frag tank very recently, and i have some spare equipment lying around (like a skimmer and an algae scrubber)

@Jeffery Kilpatrick , sorry as i seemed to have missed your last response. no you are not being paranoid...but i have never used that kit before so i do not know how accurate it is. It could be the type of food itself that is causing the high nitrates.....but i can't be for certain on that...

Does anybody know if I can use an ati ballasts? I was reading on the workhorse brand but its got some "so-so" reviews.

That's what I was hoping didn't happen....what's funny is that 2 out of the 4 bulbs are off. I guess I should take it apart and see

So I have one of these guys on my frag tank, I just replaced the bulbs a few weeks ago....I had It on a timer and it's been working fine. I come home tonight and the light is off...tried turning on n off, removed it from the timer i even banged it a lil and still nothing. Any help on this?
