    Water Change ?

    Taking it out of the sump would be ideal to lessen stress on the corals I suppose. I know wild conditions some corals in tidal pools will get exposed. That said, I don’t think I’ve ever lost a coral from being exposed for a short period of time.

    Turf Algae

    I went through a real bad turf algae outbreak last year. Took me a few months to really beat it. I used urchins and bacteria to beat it. Microbacter Clean i feel was a big help in defeating it.

    I feed with metal forceps just about everyday and they touch the water. The only other thing I can think is the heater. It is coming up on 2 years but looks to be in good condition and operating normally.
