I agree. The 1st app I used did the same so switched to a different one. Not familiar with an actual Lux Meter though.

I have seen similar on other sites but no thanks. I use Lux Meter and place it just above the water level and get about 18,500 lux. Be sure the screen is clean as even finger prints will give an incorrect reading.

Damn! That sucks. Maybe get a cheaper shrimp and place it in a trap. Hopefully, you can catch the pistol that way.

Bob, I believe it was the set it and forget attitude. Once cleaned working just fine. I had a Mag5 that ran for years but did clean it with a quick hot water rinse. Guess I will have to add this to my list of maintenance tasks.

When this happens I make a line in the hard algae slightly above the silicone and then scrape it down. You may leave a small algae line but rather that than have a leak.
