I have a 4' 6 bulb t5ho fixture. Bulbs were all new as of march. I did a DIY switch to shut off one of the 2 ballasts so you can turn two bulbs off independently. $125 Your pretty much paying for the bulbs and getting the fixture free.

I like it. Disappears in about 10 min between all the inverts, 5 small fish, and corals that suck it in. Even the big chunks. :)
