As of right now my sand bed is almost nonexistant (couple of bare spots)as the only area's it has been build up is due to the Pistol Shrimp moving the sand around.
Is it dustless? or do you need to rinse first?
The only reason I'm adding sand is I feel bad for the wrasse and pistol shrimp as there is very little sand for them to use.
I want to add some more sand but I'm alittle nervous about it because the last time I did it crashed the tank. If I get a bag or 2 of the "LiveSand" can I just add that strait to the tank? Or do I need to cure it?

Seeing if people are as faithful as me about cleaning there skimmers, or atleast there skimmer cups.
I'll start with what I do.
I use to only have a ramora that would pull gunk regardless of if it was clean or dirty. Had it running on my reef tank since the begining and would have to...
It was the VallyForge show about 3 years ago. They also had some matta matta turtles for a pretty penny. I haven't been to tomany shows lately because its 90% ball python morphs so its not as exciting like back in the day when there was a 50/50 mix of venomous and nonvenomous and spiderballs...
I'm already pushing my candycane pistols luck with a wrasse and hawkfish. That added with the lower temps I don't think I will go the way of a blue spot jawfish, even though its one of the most beautiful fish IMO.
Thanks for the info
This is the just of how my sump is set up. Just wondering if I could put a type of caulerpa on the rubble rock. Will this work or do I have to put another baffle in there?
Also the light is a standard t8 fixture ment for a 10gal tank.
I have a long spine urchin whos spines have been trimmed. Can't figure out why. It's still moving around and everything but it now has spines about the same size as my short spine urchin. Any idea's?

Blue spot jawfish
Quick Question on the jawfish. How often is it out? I was looking at these in the past and I can't bring myself to buy a fish that I might never see. Is yours out on a regular basis or is it in its hole and only comes out to eat?
I had a nitrate and amonia spike in the begining, but now everything is back to normal. I just cant get the water to clear up. Here's the thread that pretty much has the crash on it.http://www.njreefers.org/showthread.php?81485-Putting-Freshly-Mixed-Salt-Into-Tank The ammonia spiked up to 1.25...
