Good morning. This is a record temperature for New York in February. Almost 70 degrees and it should be about 20. Tomorrow night it is going down to 25. I took this at 630 this morning

They are not easy to find. I had t get them on line. My tank with most of the rock out for sponge removal

So far I have about 80 gallons of ASW mixed and I found and bought more large vats to hold water, fish, corals and rocks. When I mix up about 50 more gallons of water and heat it up, I will remove about 20 gallons of water from my tank to put the fish in and remove another 20 gallons of water...

I don't think that would work. Much of my tank is DIY rock and it has a lot of protrusions on it not really like store bought rock. Much of it is also dead corals from the last 50 years that I left in there so imagine using a rotary wire wheel on a piece of dead acropora with sponge coated...

I removed about a quarter of the rock on one side of my tank to try to remove as much sponge as I can I cut the corals off the rocks and put them back in the tank. The rocks I removed, about 10lbs I scraped as much sponge off as I could and used a stainless steel brush on the really encrusted...
