Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
One day, Mark hired people to re-side his old cedar sided house.
The front looked like this...
The back looked like this...
Mark went off to work that morning at 9am.
He returned home 3 hours later to find his house naked.
It looked like this...
But, after only 3 days the builders...
Something at Jenkinsons might be nice if they have the space. Agree they would run it.
Perhaps we could stock it with a few corals and donate any fish that we need to rehome.
If anyone has aextra frags we can call them and bring them down.
Really no loss to us and a way to get a banner or...
FYI folks,
Just got my order from PA. In a word, excellent.
Packed well in styrofoam shipper with heat pack separated from frag container (which was hard plastic), plenty of packing, a hand written note, a coffee mug :) and a small welcome pack with fridge magnets, pens, and brochure.
Per the...
Got the email. NO worries. Wednesday delivery is best.
Thanks for the info and we'll definitely keep a dialogue going, too many misunderstandings with lack of communications.
And we're both learning, no worries.

Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it. - G. Santayana
You hold the history. We don't know it. None of the old crew is around to help us, maybe due to these mysterious circumstances.
I told my 6 year old son I couldn't play our board game tonight (4th time in 2 weeks) as I had a...
It will happen.
Just juggling a ton of club related things atm.
As soon as opening appears, and I have time, will post new thread offering the next round of orders.
A number of us, if not all, know the club has lost its way.
A very few of us are spending tons of time outside our own jobs trying to rebuild.
We're spending family time compiling shop lists, conference calling, prepping financial accounts, trying to rebuild sponsor trust, redesigning branding...
John,
Glad everything went well! Know this was a big deal for you guys and it sound like everyone had a good time.
Was unable to attend myself (and have been lying low) due to rwcovery froma surprise surgery last week (all is good now).
Assuming the nominations stay the same, We’re trying to...
Individual zoa polyps take a long time to settle in and start to grow. No feeding required. Plus they're a bit 'dirty water', 'unspecific lighting'. I've got 2 tanks full of them. Many you can just throw in and leave them be.
On the other hand, an easy sps or monti requires a bit more...
I'm game.
Here's a thought.
Why not collect everyone's entry fee, give it to Mark at Ultimate Corals, explain we want a nice coral, not too common, easy to moderate to grow, and we need X amount of frags.
His choice on the piece. Perhaps he can get the frags, of equal size, together for us...
Just FYI as an interesting sidenote.
My much loved Grandad, passed for many a year, survivor of Omaha Beach, was known to me as 'The Old Geezer'.
'Geeze' for short. Not Pop, Granpa, Gramps.
Its a good moniker IMHO.
He didn't keep fish.
He drank Schaeffer and smoked Salems.
Dodged WWII bullets...
Tigs,
Thanks man, but it won't work. I'm looking for a single tube, clear plastic, to try to build an algae scrubber reactor.
Appreciate the offer though.
M
Need a tube type reactor for an experiment.
Was going to pick up a Phosban 150 on ebay for $40 or so but wanted to see if anyone has one laying around.
Willing to drop a few bucks or trade.
Lemme know.

Agreed.
No major cycle needed unless you're using new rock.
If you're using your old rock with a piece or two of new rock you should be OK, though you will have a mini cycle.
Just dont dump too much new rock in there at once.
I use aragonite myself (or special grade reef).
I dump 5-10 pounds in...
