Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I believe they just filter feed from the water column. You may have to target feed it phytoplankton or zooplankton. I don't think they eat all the stuff in the sand bed, that's a different type.
Powerful the torch and placed in front of large nepthea. Seemed okay but not fully extended. During night it fell over so I just picked it up. The head were Very retracted. I assumed to much flow. Moved it farther back on side of tank. A few green heads popped. What's the best spot for it?
Not to impressive but works.
I forgot to pickup filter pads for the sea horse tank. Went online to order, expensive and a month to arrive.
So I improvised. Took the filter pad and cut out all material leaving the frame. Then cut up some blue/white and black carbon pads to size. Used a rubber...
I was debating cause the seahorse filter gets dirty quickly. I plan to upgrade the tank but wasn't sure if I should go overflow or not.
You just solved that problem for me.
