My new copperband seems fantastic and now eats everything. This is the first living thing I ever ordered through the mail.
I had linguine with clams last night but I decided not to give him any so I gave him cake instead.
He is about 2 1/2" long, just as I asked foe, is inquisitive and hunts...
Yesterday for the first time in my life I ordered a fish on line. A copperband. I am not getting a good feeling about this even though the fish is coming from New York where I live but the stores here are not open and I want to replace my copperband that died probably from old age.
Buying on...
My book has been selling pretty good. I guess people are home now because of this situation.
As I said 100% of all the profits are going to MS research in my wife's name and after another $125.00 I will have another $500.00 to donate which will make a total of $1,000.00 donated.
That is pretty...
Paulie, they didn't think so. :eek2:
I just found out where these Rainsford Gobies are spawning. I cleaned my glass and I also cleaned the algae off my algae scrubber which is on one end of the tank where it is hard to access. But in that back corner I never saw because it is up against a...
What a Great Country America is.
This week the Blue Angels flew over parts of New York as well as other WW2 fighter planes "Smoke Writing" a Thank You to hospital workers.
A large sign is outside our hospital that reads "Hero's Work Here" and there was a tractor parade with signs in front of the...
Very nice. We spent many years fishing. I loved fishing and would fish in a mud puddle. Then maybe in the late 70s we started SCUBA diving and fishing just seemed silly. We normally dove for lobsters but got so many flounders and blackfish fishing was not fun any more.
Sometimes we used to...
It's been raining almost every day. I haven't really fished in many years. It's more of a party and diner boat. We hang out on boats and party.
We SCUBA dove for many years and cooked the fish and lobsters on board, but now it's catered.
For some reason the weather was beautiful here today. 72 degrees and sunny so after I washed my car (again) my wife and myself took a walk down the stairs to the beach.
On the way down I noticed that the water was absolutely perfect and clearer than I have ever seen it. You can't tell from that...
Rosie the Riveter from WW2 fame and posters died this week at the age of 95.
She really was a riveter building corsair planes for the war. She didn't go to college to help build planes. A real American.
I have her poster up in my house...
Prototype of new model of aiptasia injector. It has an 18" tube on it and I can change the needle by just sliding it out.
It is shown here full of Luguls Iodine which is something I am testing in the thing. So far the aiptasia have a nice red tinge but I am not sure if they will croak or love...
I also met some nice people here and at the NJ reef swap or whatever it was called a while ago. Great clams there and Christie Brinkley even met me there. :p
Thats great all young people and especially Snowflakes should watch it.
I saw it 3 times. Those are the kind of people we need for this country, doers, not complainers.
Of course I was no Navy Seal but after basic training I felt like I could do anything, and physically I probably could.
