Jebao DCT pumps are good and pretty cheap. I run the DC12000 on my 180g and am swapping it to the DCT 12000 tomorrow (going to clean the main pump). To get through concrete you can buy a bit from home depot, but it will be a bit of a pita to drill and run the piping.

What live or frozen foods are recommended? I've been feeding rod's fish only food, mysis, and brine shrimp in addition to some NLS pellets. I'd like to give my fish as many variety as possible.

I don't see why they wouldn't make it backwards compatible. If they didn't they'd be shooting themselves in the foot as far as sales. The Apex module states "Hook up your Maxspect Gyre XF-130 or XF-150 pump to most 3rd party controllers using an available 0-10 volt port."

he did compare it verse a test kit and calibrated it a few times so i don't think it is the calibration. How is the surface exchange at the top of the tank? Maybe increase agitation.

I need to gas my generator up and make sure it is working 100%. I've only had to use it once since Sandy, knock on wood!

I took apart my new Jebao DCT and compared it to the Coral Vue pumps. They look VERY VERY similar.
