It's odd Phil. My turtle tank when I had it would eat all the feeder fish but seemed to like two of them and never bothered them. One was a goldfish and the other a killi.
Looking to do some restocking since tank seems to be on the up swing. I plan to get rid of the sole perc and bangai which leaves me with a hippo tang, yellow tang, flame angel and pseudochromis. I would like to add blue spot puffer or pakistan butterfly. I know it says caution for reef tanks...
I always vacuum the sand. The dirt trapped in there is unbelievable and I hardly feed. Not to mention can help with unknown parasites from what I have read.
Ich will dropped off fish and stay in the sand bed waiting for a host. This will help eliminate some of them supposedly.
My alk was over 18 and lost many LPS and other pieces. I could not find anything researching except to just leave it be. No dosing of any kind and wait until alk reduces naturally; it took about 2 months for me.
Good luck.
Is this okay to feed my fish?
