Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Lost power a few times today. Just standing by in case the UPS backup fails on the tank. Any thoughts on what you would keep on the battery? Someone in a different forum suggested not putting lights on the battery because of how fast it drains power. What would you keep plugged in at minimum?
Thanks for the story Mark. I am about to go on an annual camping trip in August that I started going to for a few years now. It’s a very anticipated event with a special feel since it has been going on for 19 years now. I can bet there will be plenty of Gimlets.
Still getting used to the new...
So looks like the fish is unchanged by the freshwater bath and a week of PraziPro. I am starting to think this gill issue is permanent damage. Not sure what else to try. The clown is acting normal and eating and appears to be enjoying the company of the other clown.

Looking for advice on a DIY cover for my tank. Planning on eventually getting a pair of fire fish and they are known for jumping out.
I have a hang on back overflow and have looked at solutions like eggcrate and mesh kits sold by bulk reef supply. People are saying that the eggcrate...
If you look at the amazon post there is a chart for what they recommend for your size tank. I think they recommend two 165 for yours. One thing I don’t like about having two is that sometimes the clocks start to get out of sync after a few weeks by a couple seconds. Easy to recalibrate though.
My clown is acting healthy but has protruding gills and an injured face. I put pictures in another thread here. I tried the freshwater dip. He was freaking out in the dip but when I put him back in the tank he went back to normal.
I am not so sure. I am still looking for solutions for my clownfish. Was going to try to quarantine and use Prazipro if he does not look any better. Is your fish eating?
Maybe try turning it on to see if it helps? If it is what I think my fish have a fresh water bath could help. I would wait for others to chime to see what they think. I am fairly new with saltwater fish issues.
