I got one from NY Aquatic last year. I think my powder blue harassed to to death in a 90 observation tank. It was in hiding and probably would have done better if I'd gotten it into my DT faster. The only other place I've seen them locally is Absolutely Fish maybe once a year. I saw one at...
The Icy Finger of Death - looks like something for a Fox Mulder and Dana Scully episode...
Don't watch the video if Starfish getting instantly zapped by The Icy Finger of Death might turn your stomach...
I recollect that I'm east and yet pretty close to you, in Livingston 07039. I've also gotten in the habit of hitting UPS and FedEx hubs to pick up my animals vs. waiting six or seven more hours for a local truck delivery.
On QCC...
I'm interested in a $96 Deresa Clam, but I'm not able to order it (or pick it up locally) until the week of 3/31/24. Let me know of any interest in order splitting. I'm in the North end of NJ.
How long ago did you see these? Back on 12/2/23 I was out there and saw what I thought could have easily been a sacred Fiji Yellow Leather. They had four of them. I bought one on speculation for $80. I've been lucky so far and not put it under any blue lighting. It is now the same shape and...
I've had one RBTA in a cactus pot in my DT for some time now. It hasn't moved but It has split twice. Both times the split's foot has moved behind a rock 4 or 5 inches away. Here's a poor photo taken early in the tank's day:
The diameter of the original nem in now about 7.5". I can't...
If that thing is glass, it's just a matter of time before you destroy it with an ill timed live rock move. If it is plastic is should be OK, but it would probably still be fragile. I prefer succulent pots like these...
For reasons I can't fathom, they're $20.99 on Amazon:

Ely's is in Florham Park. Great store for freshwater and koi. They have some saltwater fish and a very few inverts, but no frags.
I'm close so I go there for my live black worms and live brine shrimp.
I've had an Apex for years. I think I'm up to 20 or more distinct modules. I added a Hydros 2 years ago because I wanted to be able to run both Gyres and Octo Plus 4s without the need for (costly) controllers or bricks. (And, I must admit, I wanted something new to play with.) I've stopped...
