Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Thanks, Mrx
(Im in Brick. Herbertsville)
Not TOO concerned about the seals, but, prefer them to be serviceable.
I can redo them if it was a reptile or turtle tank.
if its taking up space....
if wifey wants it gone.....yesterday.....
if you're moving....
upsizing.......
Try me.
DIY a possibility?
might cost -slightly- more than $35 but you could make a custom dolly, with wood and casters.
even make a 'double dolly' that can handle two cans.....(as long as the casters and wood design can handle the weight)
just throwing options out there........
Stopped in yesterday (3/3/2018)
Within a few mins I was asked if I needed help. (and they had some traffic)
Good selection of fish.
Great selection of corals.
A couple of tank setups for sale in front of the store. (forgot to ask how much the large marineland tank was)
Some dry live...
Nice. Your filtration setup close enough to run a direct line? Dont tell me you didnt think about this already. Im coming to find reefers are, in some ways, like addicts. :)
great tip...
This astonishes me, in a good way. In my case, Shark River, its pretty silty and shallow and Routes 18 and 35, Id imagine, contribute a chit-ton of road runoff to it. Being that your levels were right where you wanted them to be, only sparks my curiosity further.....People have become more...
I live on Shark River.
I dont know if id have the gumption to dump that stuff in my tank.
I suppose I could test out the water first.
Any tips on best times to harvest? Low tides? Lunar high tides? Before it rains?
(side note: This forum is great. Ive been spending a lot of time here reading...
Can confirm, as of yesterday, Wall Township store had all sizes listed above. Near the registers and some down the aisles.
I might go grab another 55 and a 40
I just picked one up.
55 gallon.
normally $99
now $55
and they accepted coupons as well.
We had a $10 coupon.
Got a 55 aqueon tank, new, for $45 and the tank had a coupon for $10 off an aqueon filter for a tank this size.
Pretty good deal, although, no tops included, and is NOT reef ready...
Dollar per gallon sale at the Wall KMart Plaza Pet Store (07719)

largest I saw was 55gal, but, for $55 thats not bad.
IF youre still looking, of course.
would love to come to a meeting and, well, meet y'all, but, this is almost a 2 hour trip for me.
maybe another time...if one pops up closer to my neck of the state.
Great thread...
Thanks for taking the time.
Many people don't like to highlight the things they'd do better.
But, when people do, its make us all better, so, thanks for doing so.
I want to mimic this same idea so any and all pros and cons are welcome!
Pet Store.
KMart Plaza.
Wall Township. (07719)
Rt 35 South.
They had 10, 20, 40 and
55 gallon was the largest I saw, and, I believe, the brand was Aqueon, but, don't quote me.

New to the site.
I have a bit of experience with fresh water setups and now I'm looking to get salty.
I'm looking forward to doing some homework, here.
Have a great day, folks.
