I only have about 100gal total volume 90gal display 20gal sump minus rock and substrate. I’m sure I can just pick up a dosing pump and let that do it’s thing always mixing 2part and worrying about a overdose of either alk or cal and haveing problems As for a cal reactor I don’t know to much...
I found this on R2R and followed it almost all the way didn’t add the black worms and seaweed from the ocean but all the other things went into the blender. My fish love the food they go crazy for it
It's all @Paul B's fault... my journey to an immune reef (hopefully!)
Most salt mixes have different Alk Cal and MAG levels so changing could really mess things up. I would do like Chris said very slowly so the swing isn’t as bad.
Thanks for all the replies everyone!!!!
Went out tonight and picked up a bunch of fresh seafood made a couple bags and is now in the freezer hiding from the wife. I really underestimated the smell :/ by far nasty but my fish went CRAZY for it
Thanks again
I’m wondering what everyone is using for light in the refugium light? There seems to be a lot to pick from the HD $5 clip on light to the kessil high dollar one.
Any info would be great thanks
What’s up everyone
Question I like to know what everyone is feeding their fish?
I always heard about people giving their fish vitamins and garlic but have no clue on that. I am just giving them nori strips and frozen hikari mega marine algae cubes.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I can...
Could it be a pistol shrimp?
How big is your tank? Is it laying on a slab or a subfloor?
If you heard your glass cracking the next thing would be the sound of water so I don’t think it’s your tank glass making that sound
