Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
After derailing mrjon's thread I decided it would probably serve me better to post this separately.
I'll be attending Arizona State University polytechnic next year and majoring in environmental resource management (save the reefs!)
Since school is 2,500 miles away I'm going to unfortunately...
Does anyone happen to have a frag of birdsnest (any type) and/ or a gorgonian for cheap or free? Doesn't need to be on a plug or anything. I'm looking for a few more things to fill out my tank.

last week I added a new Kole tang and coral beauty to my 90g and the two of them are doing great and getting along with everyone now.
I'd like to start looking for my last fish or two to really round out my stocking now so I can begin QT and have them ready to add in a few weeks.
This is my...

In my previous tank I had a ton of these little tiny pink and white brittle stars that I loved, they're also great detrivores and keep the rocks clean. Does anyone have them in their tank? I'm willing to buy a rock full of them from someone, provided there are no pests also on that rock.
I’ve been seeing some other local groups doing this activity where one coral is fragged and equal sized pieces are given to each member to see who can grow them the fastest.
I think we could maybe do something like this? Everyone participating could put in like $5 and winner after 3-6 months...
How is everyone (and everyone's tanks) doing with this noreaster we're having today? I lost power from about 5:30-7 and have been running around trying to keep everything happy.
Is anyone else having issues related to the storm tonight?
A few members on here ( myself included) have recently expressed interest in purchasing some clean up crew members from reefcleaners.org. I think we can get a good group buy going here.
I suggest we all list what we wanted to get on here and then combine orders to split the shipping costs...
As the title says, I recently added a reefkeeper to my system that had been sitting in storage for a while. During the move I lost the SID (the connector that plugs into a USB to connect to your computer) and don't really want to pay the $25 for a new one. Does anyone have one that I could...
What does everyone use to Calibrate their temperature probes? I'm about to add mine back onto my system after having it sit for >1 year.
Should I get a new probe or can I just recalibrate it? And if calibration is the way to go, what should I use? Thanks.

A few of us picked up some clams at the February club meeting, which was held at OIA.
This thread is meant to showcase growth and discuss care for our clam siblings.
Enjoy!

So my clown decided to host the new hammer I just picked up.... at least I think so
She’s pressing her head into it and it looks like she’s biting at it but she isn’t actually swimming through the coral.
The hammer is kinda angry now and is retracted to about 70% if it’s total size.

This thing pulls great and would be perfect for a 40b or similar.
