If you're near Sewell, in South Jersey, Rob at RobRom Corals used to rent a par meter for less than BRS. Rob moved his inventory to TSM so not sure if he is still renting it.
My coralline was minimal before and after urchins but tank is still pretty new. Maybe 7 months now. I hate gha more than I like coralline. Have some here and there.
More urchins. Get some purple pincushions. I have two pincushions and two tuxedos in my 130 gallon. pincishions finally did the job. Two tuxedos weren’t cutting it. Wiped out the gha in like 2 weeks.
I don’t have any to trade but there is a guy in Collegeville pa who sells some from time to time. Very reasonable and very healthy. He advertises on Craig’s list all the time. Ive gotten lots of stuff from him. Super good guy. I have a small frag of OT that looks like it’s ready to start really...
Still looking at some. Stocked up too fast at beginning and got a tang with ich. Killed most of my fish. Sucked it up and bought a uv. All fish been good since but new powder brown gets some white spots like once a week then they go away. Bad yesterday so feed them some metroplex. Way better...
I did the NSA primarily for the look, but also for better swimming space for fish, improved flow, and I was tired of things moving my scape like my huge turbo snail.
I often move corals around to change exposure to light or flow or to make room for more or things that have gotten too big. In my 30 gallons also moved scape around. With my 130 I went negative space and cemented everything in place so no moving rock anymore. Ya gotta commit with the NSA.
Vibrant has been a cyano disaster for me. I've used it in two different tanks and both times had large explosions of cyano. Still battling it along with all kinds of algae. Frustrating, but had this before with my 30.
