I started with fine Caribsea Fiji Pink sand. I love the look, but in the first couple of months the sand found a way to get to the sump.
After it settled, I no longer face this issue.
I would actually recommend it, because it looks great.
I see the benefits of a bare bottom, just don't...
Hi all,
I know most of us think we over feed.
Hence it'll be interesting to see our much feeds compare to others.
I feed 1 cube of PI Mysis with about 20 pellets of Hikary Algae pellets - Twice a day.
90 gallon, with following fishes:
- 4 med size (~3-4 in)
- 9 small (~ 2 in)
- 4...
I use two little fishes epoxy, and works good.
I've tried many glues, and the one that I prefer (less mess), is the Maxi-cure glue.

Try running carbon before. And get Coral Rx to dip them before introducing.
My first coral was a Green Hammer, and I still have it. It's hardly, he suffered for a bit when I placed him on high flow, but he's now happy, shining and growing.
IMO, Euphyllias are good to start and look great...
Cobalt pellet food, the pellets are extremely large and do not soften. I had very high expectations from the description.
On the other hand they have very good heaters and good customer service.

Hi everyone,
Do you recommend any custom tank builders for a 6ft, 200g tank?
I'm considering quoting and compare to a RedSea XXL750. Currently have a RedSea and think is good quality at a great value. But I'm not convinced on the XXL sump set up, as I want to use Triton Method.
I already got...
I'm also consuming about 3/4 to a gallon a day on really hot days and is w/ a/c on, this this for a 75 display and 15 sump.
Have a Cobalt 300w heater, setup at 78 in the sump, and my probe wich is is in most distant place of DT also reads 78.

Hi everyone,
What on-line or NJ stores do you suggest to get quality and out-of-the-ordinary premium Zoas or other colorful corals?
I've tried WWC and spent too much $ for very small frags, that don't look as good as the pictures.
Thanks in advance,

Same here - they eat the leftovers from fish feeding.
I've been using Hikari Extreme Algae, and I really like it because it sinks, has a large concentration of algae, and suitable size for small and large fish - and BTW all my omnivores love it.
Hi I'm Andy, I live in Maplewood NJ.
I have a 90 gallon; LPS, Zoas, anemones, gobies, mandarins, clownfish and juveniles Tangs.
I started this tank to enhance my patience, and because I like challenges.
